It's been a long time since i updated my blog.. more than a week.. hehe... Well, i have no chance to use the computer... my brother simply hogged onto the computer, everyday, 24/7...
24 Sept
This day was the last day of my prelim exam... went to jalan-jalan with my usual gang ( Charity, Wen Qi, Tannie ) Noticed many shops that i have never set my eye on.. And found out from Tannie that a brand namely, J.West, is a local shoe brand and it stands for JURONG WEST!! wow!! never knew about this right...
Watched New Police Story with Piggy at night.. Its so much more interesting than i expected.... This one is different from normal contemporary Jackie Chan movie.. this one showcases the intelligence of the bandits and how the Hong Kong Police Force lost to the the few of them in a gun fight... Together with handsome looking actors.. this one is definitely a must watch movie...
25th Sept
Went out with Piggy as usual.. went to town, shopped and queued for free Perfect 10 98.7 fm's larnyards... sounds quite cheap-skate and stupid right? But who cares.. i queueing for the chance to win $500 Hereen shopping vouchers, and $500 is enough reson for me to put down y pride and join in the queue.. The larnyard is actually not very important to me.. We were there rather early.. been waiting for the clock to strike 4 pm as we shopped around... but to our horror, the queue is as long as you can ever think off... Furthermore the larnyards are only limited to the first 100 in the queue... I was crossing my fingers and hoping we are amongst the lucky 100 people in the queue the whole time.. and guess what!? I am the hundredth person to recieve the larnyards!! COOL!! i am lucky.. and at that point of time i hoped lady luck will shine on me till monday when the results will be announced on air!!
Met Elaine and Mich at millenia walk in the evening... Piggy have to leave earlier cos he gotta book in early to get ready for the Army Half Marathon ( AHM ) the next day... Too bad.. he can't join us for dinner... Had dinner at Marche Suntec.. and was kinda surprised that Jenna and Sean are actually joining us.. WOW!! Geok came too.. its like a gathering but Elaine gotta leave earlier... And wait! guess what?! i was imaging the sight of how i will be if i win the $500 vouchers!! i was dreaming, floating on my sweet dreams the entire time..
26th Sept
Met piggy after his AHM!! went to town after that.. and we went to queue for another chance to win the $500 voucher! ( we really hoped to win it! ) Piggy and Martin went for a relaxing foot reflexology while i sit at the side waiting for them! Apparently it was really painful eventhough they opted for a moderate strength.. I guess i will not be able to bear with it...Despite the agonising pain they went through.. but the said that after the session, the ache on their ankles and feet after the run has diminished... Martin even said he felt that he could run again! Amazing!
27th Sept
This is a non-school day.. meaning no school for me!! woked up early, however, to listen to Perfect 10 and hoped that the number announced on air will be ours! To our disappointment, we are not the lucky winner... *cries* lady luck is not with me!!
Met Piggy and his mum for lunch at Crystal Jade Tao Payoh.. Had a really full lunch.. Went to Bishan to buy mooncakes and then send his mum to his grandma place and we head home to watch Resident Evil 1.. must watch before wating Resident Evil 2 in the movies.. hehe!! Went for dinner in the evening with his family and again i was full to the brim!! Gona grow really fat and worse i am not exercising at all despite the resolutions i made..
The mooncakes are really nice!! Thanks Piggy and Auntie!! hehe!!
28th Sept
School starts.. wasted time in school and it was the first time Mrs Kuah ( econs teacher ) was absent from school.. probably fell ill with increased blood pressure after reading our scripts! OopZ!
Met Alex after school to pass him his birthday present, we are 2 months late.. hehe!! walked around town to help Charity look for prom outfit.. it was really tiring... i was like a zombie again as i walked towards the bus stop to go home...
Met Piggy at night to celebrate Mid-Atumn festival.. we went to Yishun ( a place where there is a long stretch of road and with waters ( i think it is a reservoir ) on both side of the road.. the place was really crowded with families, friends and couples.. kids playing candles, fireworks, families engaged in BBQ etc. There are also people selling ice-cream.. hehe! Piggy and I went there prepared too.. we had our lanterns, candles, fireworks and Piggy even brought mooncakes!! wow!!
We kinda went back to our childhood days, burning candles and making a mess of the place.. but now older liao, we did not caused a place as full-of-wax as some other kids caused.. and something really funny happened! As we were playing, Piggy started to unpack all the fireworks and candles on the mat we sitting on for better accessibility.. then he started to light up a fireworks stick... As we all know, there will be like spraks of fire falling right.. and guess what?! on of the sparks landed on the heap of fireworks and candles and it kinda exploded in flames..
It kinda shocked me as the flame was really strong and it nearly torched my leg.. all the fireworks are gone within just 2 seconds... sighZ... i spent so much money and in the end it was gone within 2 seconds.. *heart-broken* The mini explosion also created a big hole in the mat we were sitting on... besides the big hole there are also many other tiny holes.. which made that mat kinda useless already.. And guess what Piggy still couldn't bear to part with the mat and said he can sew another cloth over the hole to cover it.. hehe! sometimes he can be really cute and adorable.. hehe!!
29th Sept
Today my Chem teacher revealed our results.. as expected, i failed! I am not really very sad., cos i did not do as bad as i expected... At least i did rather well for my paper 4 ( practical ) and paper 1 ( MCQ ) My other papers were simply a catastrophic disaster... scored 27/100 for paper 3 ( essay ) and 18/60 fpr paper 2 ( structured ) I scored 57/75 and 25/40 for paper 4 and 1 respectively.. I was rather comforted to know that my paper 4 & 1 actually pulled me up to obtain a 43 overall for the paper which ia an O grade...
Hurried home after school.. And happy to see that my bro is not at home.. which implies i can use the computer! yeah!!
